NO 5 - Rosé - Lucien Roguet No 5 rosé is an exquisite wine, a blend of the three noble grape varieties Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay, with careful bottle aging for at least 15 months before disgorgement. The wine has an attractive salmon-pink color, enriched with subtle bluish reflections, and is characterized by a delicate and persistent effervescence. On the nose, this rosé is particularly intense and expressive, with convincing aromas of red fruits like blackcurrant bud and freshly picked blackberries, followed by spicy and peppery nuances of pink and black pepper. On the palate, the wine starts fresh and smooth, with mineral facets (think flint) prominently coming forward. These sensations are beautifully in harmony with the intense red fruit aromas that also stand out in the bouquet, providing a deep and lingering taste experience.
